Michael J. Buckley, 71 of Elkhart, died Wednesday September 24, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital. The Elkhart native was born March 24, 1943 to Maynard E. & Maxine G. (Kenaga) Buckley. Mike was a US Air Force veteran and on November 25, 1965 he married Constance A. Crosbie. Mike was a loyal and generous friend, devoted to his wife & family; considered by all to be kind, caring and always willing to help. An avid car enthusiast, he had retired as a quality control supervisor at Crosbie Foundry in Elkhart. Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Connie Buckley; son, Steve (Laura) Buckley of Fishers; daughter, Sylvia Buckley of Goshen, son, Jeff (Kim) Buckley of Elkhart; grandchildren, Kelsey and Nolan Buckley, both of Fishers, Tiffany and Roxana Castillero, both of Orlando FL, Andrea (Demetrius) Martin in Washington (State), Rachel, Hannah and Jessica Buckley, all of Elkhart; great-grandson Aiden Martin; sister, Tish (Ken) Wasulko of Mishawaka and nephew, Scott Wasulko of Chicago. The family will receive friends on Saturday September 27, 2014, from 11:30am until 1:00pm in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Interment will be held privately in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family''s preferred memorials are The American Heart Association or The American Cancer Society.
