Michael A. Connell, 53, of Elkhart, passed away on April 10, 2023 at home.  He was born on December 16, 1969 in Jackson, Michigan.

Mike was employed at Forest River for many years.  He liked playing disc golf with his friends.  He loved working the football games at Notre Dame for many years- enjoying his love of ND and the game.  He was an avid online gamer and beta tester.  He was loved by friends and neighbors- especially neighborhood kids, who loved to spend time hanging out at Mike's house- rumor was that he had the best snacks!

He is survived by his father, William Connell; his mother, Diane Neumann; a sister, Lisa (Charlie Waddell) Connell; grandmother, Elda Collins; a niece, Kayla Connell; and a nephew, Justin Murphy. He is also survived by his birth father, Rick (Lois) Saltzgaber, and their children, Brent, Matt and Mary.

In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation will take place.  A Celebration of Life Reception will be on Monday April 17, 2023 from 3-7 PM at High Dive Park Enclosed Pavillion, 500 E. Beardsley Ave., Elkhart, IN.  Chapel Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
