Michael Fitzpatrick Shannon, 39, of Osceola, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 in Elkhart General Hospital. Michael was born on March 26, 1969 in South Bend to Larry and Sherry (Freese) Shannon.
Michael is survived by his loving parents, Larry and Sherry Shannon of Osceola, sisters, Shawna Shannon of Osceola and brother, Patrick Shannon of Bristol. He is also survived by his grandmother, Phyllis Freese of South Bend and three special nieces, Sierra, Shelby, and Dakota Shannon and his pet Greek tortoise, Buford.
Michael graduated from Penn High School in 1988 and worked for Horizon Plastics in Osceola for the past 13 years. He loved animals and was an avid fisherman.
The family will have private family services for Michael. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola is handling arrangements.
