Michael Tate Suetkamp, age 47, of Osceola, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2014 in his residence. Mike was born April 22, 1967 in Mishawaka, Indiana. He graduated from Penn High School in 1985, and later obtained an Associate''s Degree in Computer Information Systems. He was employed for many years with Phillips Products in Elkhart, and most recently with Krestmark in Texas where he performed ERP Cataloging.
Surviving is his wife, Julie (Dudeck) Suetkamp of Osceola, daughters, Amanda and Bridgette Suetkamp, both of Chicago, step sons Jason Roth of Elkhart, and Joshua Roth of Osceola, his parents, Bennie (Nancy) Suetkamp, and Charlotte (Daniel) Steele, and his brother Greg (Ann) Suetkamp. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Lucy and Avery Silguero, his step-sisters Amy (Ray) Woodruff of Virginia, and Andrea Beth (Brian) Rundieo of Florida, his mother -in-law Jewel Frazier, many nieces& nephews, and close family friend, Kelly Nance.
Friends and family will gather at 12:30 pm Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 at the Juday Creek Country Club, (14770 Lindy Drive, Granger, IN, 46530) for a time of remembrance. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Mike received his first computer at a young age, and learned to write basic programs early on. He enjoyed learning about computers, and wrote several programs for the companies he worked for. In his spare time, Mike enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, and playing video games. He loved spending time with his family, and liked to discuss politics with others. He was also a longtime member of the Michiana Skeptics.
