Michele Lynn Schreiber, age 47, of Osceola, passed away Monday, July 13, 2009 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend of natural causes. Michele was born March 30, 1962 in Waukegan, Illinois. In September of 1999, Michele was married to Kevin Schrieber in Michigan.
She is survived by her husband Kevin Schreiber of Osceola, her children, Tracy Fields of Osceola, Ashley Fields of Indianapolis, Indiana, and her step-son Justin Schreiber of Osceola. Also surviving are her parents, George and Polly Mitchell of Tennessee, and her siblings, Mike Mitchell of Tennessee, Suzanne Laten of Alabama, and Leann Redman of Tennessee.
Michele was employed as an executive banker at Fifth Third Bank for many years. She was active with New Life Church in Osceola. She was also involved with charity work with St. Jude''s Children''s Research Hospital. Michele enjoyed cooking and reading, as well as being out on Lake Michigan with her family and friends.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the 2:00 Funeral Service on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
