Michelle Sue Shidler, 53, of Osceola, passed away peacefully around 5:30 am, Monday, April 22, 2013 in her home. Sue was born on March 31, 1960 in Mishawaka, the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Templeton) Parent.

She is survived by two sons, Jon and Mike Shidler, and their father, David Shidler, all of Osceola. She is also survived by her mother, Margaret Parent of Osceola, sister, Pattie (Russell) Hummer of South Bend, and her precious dog, Rockne. Sue is preceded in death by her father, Walter and her brother, John Parent.

Sue worked in retail sales for many years; most recently she worked as the Assistant Director of General Books for the Hammes Bookstore on the campus of Notre Dame. The family would like to express their gratitude to her ND family and those at Michiana Hematology.

Visitation will take place from 4:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will take place at 10:00 am, Friday, April 26, 2013 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Osceola Cemetery.
