Michelle Marie Smith passed away March 15, 2023 in Niles, MI. Born October 29, 1960 in South Bend to Richard Benedict and Sandra (Ambler) Gallegos, she was a life resident of the Michiana area. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, sister Anita Benedict, brother Joe Gallegos and granddaughter Breazia Brody. She is survived by her mother, husband James Smith Jr., brother Craig Benedict, sister Denise Siebolt, daughters Shara Brody, Jamie Smith, and Stacey Smith, son Anson Brody as well as 10 grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
