Mildred Lucile Lese, 87, of Elkhart, entered into the restful arms of her Lord at 11:46 pm, Wednesday, June 18, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Mildred was born on March 20, 1927, in Kewanna, IN, the daughter of Frank and Altha (Stanchfield) Bixler. On June 24, 1959, she married Albert H. Lese, who passed away on June 15, 2003. Mildred is survived by four children, Ken (Marina) Rice of Phoenix, AZ, Rick Rice of Phoenix, AZ, Cindy (Dennis) Weaver of Elkhart, and Albert (Lovina) Lese, Jr. of Elkhart; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Bill (Delores) Bixler of Logansport. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Cecil H. Rice, Jr., three brothers, three sisters, and one great granddaughter, Jaylynn Mildred was a member of Harvest Ministries of Elkhart. She enjoyed gardening, dining out, and visiting casinos. She was a former Sunday School Teacher and loved her pets, Hershey and Codie. A memorial gathering will be held at 3pm, Monday, June 23, 2014 at 28468 Alfred Court, Elkhart, IN 46516.
