Mildred L. "Mickey" Palmer, age 71, of Goshen, passed away at her residence August 7, 2012. Mickey was born May 8, 1941 in Vigo County, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father William H. Fagg, and her mother Betty (Sams) Hartz.
Survivors include her children, W. Darrell Burch and Thomas Burch, both of Goshen, and Betty Patino-Waits of Elkhart; 6 grandchildren Cory (Jamie) Bright, Dustin (Daphne) Waits, Brandon (Hannah Miller) Belt, Kayla Burch, Jeanette Burch and Crystal Burch as well as 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, John D. Fagg of Arizona, Rita Robertson of Kentucky, and Bobbi Sue Reed of Jasonville, Indiana. Mickey was preceded in death by her daughter Jeannette C. Burch, her son Kenneth Waits and sister Carol Carpenter.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 10, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral home from 5-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Northside Baptist Church in Elkhart, with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens
