Millard "Joe" Hale, age 48, of Mishawaka passed away on January 28, 2016 at 12:36 AM at his home. He was born May 28, 1967 to Ernest "Ike" and Charlotte (Dawson) Hale in South Bend, IN. On July 4, 2013, Joe married Kari L. Sausman. She survives. Mr. Hale served his country honorably in the United States Army Reserves. Joe enjoyed hunting and fishing, boating, playing darts, and most outdoor activities. He watched NASCAR and was an avid Dale Earnhart, Jr. fan. Joe is survived by his wife, Kari; his parents, Ike and Charlotte Hale of Mishawaka; his siblings, Sam Hale, Eric Hale, Ernie Hale, Brandon (Kim) Hale, Laura (Eric) Helge all of Mishawaka, Amber (Matt) Delee of Granger; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service in Mr. Hale''s honor will be held on February 1, 2016 at 2 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561 with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Dr. Michael A. Cramer of the New Life Church in Osceola, IN will be officiating. Burial will take place following the service in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
