Miriam Ann Komins, 95, of Elkhart, entered into eternal rest on July 12, 2022. She was born on February 18, 1927 to the late William and Romayne Brown in Elkhart, IN. Miriam loved to play cards, volunteering at Susanna's Kitchen, and spending time with her friends. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports. Her family and church family meant the world to her. She made the best cheese spread ever but it was always accompanied by the worst crackers sold in the supermarket. Miriam will be forever missed by many.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Phil Komins; siblings, Dorothy Russel, Louis Brown, Eleanor Gilbert, and Emma Wilson.

Miriam is survived by her children, Joe (Kay) Komins, Jan Bennett, Judy Craft, and Jeff (Jody) Komins; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM with the Celebration of Life to begin at 11:00 AM at New Hope United Methodist Church, 28765 County Road 4, Elkhart, IN 46514. A private burial will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Susanna's Kitchen. Services have been entrusted to Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
