Mitchell "Mitch" Bramley, 90, of Cassopolis, Michigan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in Elkhart, Indiana.
Mitchell was born to the late Frank and Tinnie (Yancey) Bramley on May 8, 1933 in Milan, Tennessee.
Mitchell was one of eight children born of this union, and he was the baby boy. He was preceded in death by his seven siblings; Eleanora Anders (Milan, Tennessee), Rose (Bramley) Warr (Elkhart, Indiana), Alice (Bramley) Adams (Detroit, Michigan), Lucille (Bramley) Thomas (Detroit, Michigan), Jim B. Bramley (Milan, Tennessee), Robert Bramley (Fort Wayne, Indiana), and William Brawley (Elkhart, Indiana).
Mitchell moved to Elkhart as a teenager, and set to work. Always a hard worker, and having a strong work ethic, he retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad after thirty years, while also working tireless years at Wright Construction, while farming in Southern Michigan as well. Although he was an extremely hard worker, he also took time to enjoy hunting, as a hobby.
Upon arriving to Elkhart, Mitchell met and married Ms. Shirley (Newsome), and they remained married for the next twenty-five years. Mitchell leaves behind his beloved children to cherish his memory. His children are; Mitchell Bramley Jr. (Carmelita) (South Bend, Indiana), William Brawley (Detroit, Michigan), Sherrill Bramley (Detroit, Michigan), Clarence Bramley (Elkhart, Indiana), Monique Bramley (El Dorado, Arkansas), and Latrice (Bramley) Caples (Elkhart, Indiana).
Memories of Mitchell, will be cherished by his grandchildren; Avery Bramley, Jerakius Bramley, Marquis Bramley, Matthew Bramley, Troy Jones, and Lanya Rollin. Mitchell is also blessed to have great grandchildren, McKenzy Bramley, Matthew Bramley Jr., Taylor Bramley, Tristan Bramley,
Khalanie Jones, Tro'jhaun Jones, and Troy'vair Jones, who will also cherish memories of their Great-Grandfather as well.
The number of lives that Mitchell touched, have forever been changed. Although he has departed from this life, he has left a host of others, such as nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends, who will smile, laugh, or share a memory, whenever they think about Mr. Mitchell Bramley Senior.
Although Mitchell has departed from this life, his memory will live on, through those who love, respect, and miss him dearly.
