Mollyanna Keeps, age 76, of Osceola, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 1, 2012. Mollyanna was born on September 21, 1936 in Mishawaka. She was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Hazel Hittig. On May 19, 1956, Mollyanna was married to Perry Keeps in Mishawaka. They celebrated 56 years of marriage.
Perry survives, along with their sons, Kevin Keeps of Indianapolis, Indiana and Kerry (Wanda Weeks) Keeps Sr. of Mishawaka and 2 sisters, Phyllis (Corky) Plummer and Donna (Bob) Royer. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Kerry Keeps Jr., Krystle Keeps, Mindy (Kevin) Stanton and 2 great grandchildren, Kaley and Zack Keeps.
Friends may call 2 hours prior to the 8:00 pm Memorial Service on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola.
Mrs. Keeps graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1954. She was employed for 30 years at the Bendix (Honeywell) Corporation in both Mishawaka and South Bend as a Gauge Control Analyst until her retirement in 1988.
She loved to travel with her husband throughout the US and had visited Europe. They enjoyed visiting the casinos, and she loved bowling in the Sr. Golden Game at Chippewa Bowl in South Bend for many years as well. One of her favorite things to do was watch her grandchildren play sports.
