Myrna Kay Earnhart (78), residing in Albertville, Alabama and formerly of Mishawaka, Indiana went to be with the Lord at 11:40 am on Monday, January 9th, 2023. Myrna Kay was born in Mishawaka,  Indiana on February 2nd, 1944 to the late Stanley Rogers and Paula (Berger) Rogers. On June 10th, 1967 she married her high school sweetheart, Russ Earnhart. He survives along with two daughters, Connie Earnhart and Sarah (Adam) McBride and seven grandchildren: Hayley Grall, Lilly Joy Kistler, Scarlett Kistler, Connor Kreske, Ethan Kreske, Isabella McBride, and Adeline McBride. Also surviving is a brother, Allen Rogers (Ellen). Myrna Kay graduated from Penn High School, class of 1962. She received a Bachelor's and Master's degree in education from Ball State University.  She taught in the Business Department at Mishawaka High School for 36 years and touched the lives of many students. She helped with the annual Vespers program for 24 years and retired in 2002. Myrna Kay's greatest joy came from being a mother and a grandmother. She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, Delta Kappa Gamma  (a teacher's honorary) and Gideons Auxiliary. Myrna Kay was also a member of Granger Missionary Church and later the First Baptist Church of Grant, Alabama.  Myrna Kay loved music and played the piano and the organ at church for over 50 years. She also enjoyed traveling,  reading, knitting and other crafts. Friends and family may visit from 4-7pm on January 16th, 2023 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway,  Osceola, Indiana 46561.
