Nam Sook Kim, age 90, of Indiana, passed away June 8, 2010. Mrs. Kim was born February 10, 1920 in South Korea. She was married to the late Jun H. Kim in May of 1938. Mr. Kim preceded her in death, passing away in 1993.
Survivors include her children, Dong K. Kim of South Korea, Dong Y. Kim of Michigan, Dong W. Kim of Pennsylvania, Young H. Kim of Granger, Indiana, Young A. Chang of Columbus, Ohio, and Young S. Chu of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday, June 11, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Michiana Korean Church, 29400 C.R. 10, in Elkhart.
Mrs. Kim and her husband were founding members of the Michiana Korean Church. She devoted her life to God, and encouraged her family to pursue their education. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and growing many varieties of flowers, sewing, and cooking.
