Obituary

Namon F. Morris, 90, of Osceola, Indiana, passed away following a brief illness. He was born on July 11, 1934, in Collinwood, Tennessee, to the late Noah and Mary (Johnson) Morris. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

On May 23, 1953, Namon married the love of his life, Evone (Henson) Morris, in Iuka, Mississippi, and together they enjoyed 71 years of marriage.

Namon retired in 1990 after 38 years from Ball Band/Uniroyal. He was a devoted member of Southside Baptist Church in Mishawaka. He had a passion for playing guitar, fishing, hunting, gardening, and making music.

Namon is survived by his beloved wife, Evone Morris; daughter, Phyllis (Charles) Wille of Walkerton; son, Larry (Vivian) Morris of Elkhart; grandchildren, Heidi (Matt) Pollard of Elkhart, Jeremy Morris of Elkhart, Kenny Ballard of Lakeville, Kelly (Rob) Baker of Mentone, and Kevin (Tess) Thomas of Watervliet, MI; great-grandchildren, Conner, Carson, Ben, Leon, Anna, Erik, Shelby, Haley, Hannah, and Zack; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, IN.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 5th, at 12:00 Noon, also at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

Internment will immediately follow the funeral service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana.
