IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nancy Jean
Anderson (Hendrickson)
January 11, 1955 – December 31, 2025
Graveside Service
Nancy Jean Anderson (Hendrickson) of Cassopolis, Michigan passed peacefully on the morning of December 31st, 2025, due to complications associated with COPD. Nancy was born January 11th, 1955, in Hammond, Indiana to Jack and Frances Hendrickson (Nerney). Nancy graduated a semester early from Scottville High (Michigan) in 1973 and spent most of her adult life living in Nappanee, IN, where she worked on the RV line for Fairmont Homes before retiring after 25+ years of dedicated and loyal service.
Nancy was preceded in death by her former husband and longtime best friend, Al Anderson and her brother David Hendrickson. Surviving are Nancy's sister Madelynn Locker of Portage, MI, brother Michael Hendrickson of Holland, MI, stepson David Anderson (Melony) and their children Alexander and Gabriella of Nappanee, IN, nephews Eric Locker, Taylor and Alex Hendrickson, nieces Alyssa Lang, Meaghan Emmons, and Lizzy Wolf, and special friend Bob Miller.
Nancy's greatest joys in life were spending time with family, listening to music, adorning her home with neat antiques, going to estate sales, and quietly taking in the fresh air of her modest, country estate. Most of all, Nancy was passionate about her precious rescue Newfoundland dogs Elvis and Annie that she lovingly cared for up until the time of her passing.
The Friends of Nancy's are invited to join her family in celebration of Nancy's life graveside on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, at 11am at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561. In remembrance of Nancy's kind spirit and love of her Newfies, the family asks that any donations be sent in Nancy's honor to the South Central Newfoundland Rescue of Indianapolis, IN.
