Nancy A. Mikev, age 65, of Elkhart passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Elkhart General Hospital. Nancy was born June 4, 1947 in Elkhart, Indiana to Michael and Betty (Kurtz) Iavagnilio.

Surviving are her daughters, Tamara (Jason) Rorie of Elkhart, and Angela (Josh) Havens of Middlebury, her mother Betty Iavagnilio of Elkhart, and her brother Michael (Linda) Iavagnilio of Elkhart. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Bret, Gwyneth, Hanna, Tyler, Jordan, Brennan, Zach, Mason, and Nate. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well. Nancy was preceded in death by her father Michael in 1982.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Augustana Lutheran Church, 1133 Kilbourn St., Elkhart, Indiana 46514. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is handling cremation services. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana.

Nancy recently retired after 47 years as a moulder in the plastics division at CTS Corporation in Elkhart, where she proudly supported the UAW Local # 941. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and shopping for antiques. Nancy also attended Augustana Lutheran Church.

The family would like to thank the 4th floor Oncology department, the critical care unit at Elkhart General Hospital, and The Elkhart Cancer Specialists at the Elkhart Clinic for their care and help during Nancy''s illness.

In her memory, donations may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart, or Augustana Lutheran Church.
