Ninalee Schooley, age 76, of Elkhart passed away on January 2, 2016 at her home. She was born September 30, 1939 to Clyde Eugene and Verna Helen (Chapman) Dinehart in Elkhart, Indiana. After graduating from high school, Ninalee began her career with GTE as a Test Board Operator. She also enjoyed working with Christ''s Commissary-the food pantry at Elkhart First Brethren Church where she was a member. Ninalee was a lifetime area resident and volunteered with the Al-Anon program. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, crafts, puzzles, bowling, and flower gardening. Ninalee is survived by her children, Thomas Schooley of Elkhart, IN and Joanne Wilson of Iowa City, IA; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, David H. (Nancy) Dinehart of Grand Rapids, MI; and a sister, Carolyn (Ogden) Sands of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Lewis G. Schooley, Jr. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 2-7 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 10 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Herendeen officiating. There will also be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens following the service.
