Norma L. Easton, 87, passed away peacefully early afternoon, Sunday, July 8, 2018. Norma was born in Clay County, IN on January 11, 1931 to the late Dan and Sarah (Smith) Gamble. On June 8, 1957, Norma was wed to Kenneth Easton in Mishawaka, where they resided most of their married life. Together, they celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing on March 5th of this year. She worked at Morton High School in Hammond, IN where her son, Greg, is now the principal. She and Kenneth spent 20 years in Hammond before moving to Mishawaka. Norma retired from the School City of Mishawaka. She loved to listen to gospel music, adored her dogs, and enjoyed camping with Kenneth at Jellystone Campground in Plymouth. Norma was also remembered as a wonderful cook and hostess to all her family during the holidays. Most of all she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and dedicated to her faith. Norma is survived by her son, Greg (Kellie) Easton of Hammond, IN; daughters, Kimberly Easton of South Bend, IN & Peggy Tokarz of St. Louis, MO; brother, Jerry Gamble of Clay City, IN; sister, Donna (Ronnie) McCartney of Lakeville, IN, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Melissa Smith; son-in-law, Jerry Tokarz, and brothers, Kenneth, Russell, John Joe, Gene, & Dan Gamble, Jr. Visitation for Norma will be held on Friday, July 13
