Norma Jean Eppert, age 77 of Bristol, formerly of Mishawaka, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 of natural causes. Norma was born June 30, 1932 in Nappanee, Indiana to the late Darrell and Sarah (Davis) Bauman.
Surviving are her children, Robert Eppert of Elkhart, Indiana, Richard Eppert of Union, Michigan, Rosanna (Michael) Wiedeman of New Jersey, Jacqueline (Charles) Hipsak of Nevada, and Nancy (Jerrold) Miller of Bristol, Indiana. Also surviving is her brother David (Helen) Bauman of Mishawaka, and her sister, Madge (Donald) Kidd of Texas. Surviving as well are 13 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Friday, November 20, 2009 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Rev. Dale Turner will conduct the 2:00 pm funeral service at Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Saturday, November 21, 2009. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Norma was employed by South Bend Modern Molding for over 20 years as a punch press operator. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, camping and gardening. Norma was also a loving mother; her children were her life. She had attended the Methodist Church in Mishawaka for many years.
