Norman G. Hennings, 83, of Edwardsburg, died Monday December 17, 2012 at Elkhart General Hospital. The Alliance NE native was a US Navy veteran and a retired electrician and member of I.B.E.W #357. Norman attended New Song Community Church in Union and was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite. His home lodge is Yuma Lodge #17, F.& A.M. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma and his brother, Ralph Hennings. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Hennings; son, Greg (Pam) Hennings of Glendale AZ; daughter, Patricia (Frank) Simmons of Findley OH; step-sons, Steve (Peggy) Harman of Edwardsburg, Tim (Pam) Harman and Tom (Gina) Harman, both of Union MI and Mark (Mary) Harman of Bristol; step-daughter, Penny (Raymond) McDonald of Three Rivers MI; his brother, Ray (Lillie) Hennings of Scotts Bluff NE; sister, Georgia Mae (Bob) Solterbeck of Torrington WY and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call 1-3pm Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Private burial in Las Vegas NV.
