Patricia J. "Pat" Lewis, age 70, of Mishawaka, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Pat was born April 5, 1942 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Alvin and Catherine (Fashbaugh) Emery. She graduated from Penn High School in 1960, and on June 20, 1964, she married Gene Lewis in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Gene survives, along with their children, Cheryl Lewis of Warsaw, Cathy Lewis of Mishawaka, Rebecca (Jason) Thompson of Scottsdale, Arizona, Cindy (Mike) Calhoun and Michael Lewis, both of Mishawaka. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Tyler, Kaleigh, Alyssa, Zachary, Jacob, Colin, and Chad. Pat is also survived by her siblings Donna (Robert) Borsodi of Mishawka, and David (Sharon) Emery of Granger.

Friends may call from 4-7 pm on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola where a rosary will be recited at 6:15 pm. There will also be one hour of calling prior to the 2:00 pm memorial service on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Chapel Hill. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Pat was employed at Ball Band after high school, and later in food services for the Mishawaka School System and Bethel College. She also worked at the front desk of B&D Office Machines in River Park as well. Pat finally retired in the year 2000. In her spare time, she enjoyed square dancing with her husband, camping, and attending the Penn Neighbors Home Economics Club. Pat was also a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church since 1967.
