Elkhart, IN - Patricia Sue Woolwine, 83, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, in Elkhart, IN, after a period of declining health.

Patricia was born on March 11, 1942, in Monarch, West Virginia, to the late Alex and Kathryn (Hobbs) Stewart. She married Charles W. Woolwine on July 16, 1960, in West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles, on January 28, 2020, and by her brothers: Tom Stewart and Michael Stewart, as well as her sisters: Sissie Mullins, Maxine Quinn, and Mabel Music.

Patricia had been a member of the United Christian Church. Patricia had many interests. She was an avid reader who enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, old country western TV shows, and birdwatching. Her family and friends will always remember her love of life and the kindness she shared with others.

Patricia is survived by her children: Tod (Diana) Woolwine of Charleston, WV; Charles (Diana) Woolwine of Granger, IN; Dale (Jennifer) Woolwine of Elkhart, IN; and Tina (Michael) Shanholt of Elkhart, IN. Patricia was a cherished grandmother to Michelle, Steven, Angela, Camron, Brianna, and Nicole, and great-grandmother to Gabe, Eli, Hannah, and Luke.

Patricia is also survived by her brothers: Cecil Stewart of Tampa, FL, and Eddie Stewart of Elkhart, IN, as well as her sisters: Erna Garley, Kathy Taylor, Jill Morrison, and Neda Taylor, all of Charleston, WV. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her deeply.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 25th, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, also at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, IN.

Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.
