Patsy M. "Pat" Beres, 85, of South Bend, passed away Monday April 27, 2015 in her home, surrounded by family. The South Bend native was born July 26, 1929 to Carl & Mae (Taylor) Wagner. Pat had retired from the office at Niles Chemical Paint; she loved reading and good times spent with family & friends, especially hosting cookouts by the pool for all to enjoy. Pat was kind, generous and selfless; she will surely be missed. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1968. She is survived by her children & step-children, Michael Kamp of South Bend, Russell Kamp of Vancouver WA, Mary Ann Kamp and Angela (Steve) Hartman, both of South Bend; Michael Beres and Carla Beres, both of South Bend; her grandchildren, Nathan Starzynski in Illinois and Adam Starzynski & Samantha Hartman in South Bend, and her great-grandchildren, Mason & Gavin Vance. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Memorial Chapel at Highland Cemetery, 2257 Portage Ave in South Bend.
