Patsy D. Timmons, 77, of Elkhart passed away Friday August 15, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital. The Goshen native was born November 16, 1936 to Lawrence J. & Evelyn A. (Knight) Yoder, who have both preceded her in death. On June 24, 1955 she married Harold W. Timmons in Goshen. Harold also preceded her in death in 2009, after 54 years of marriage. Patsy was a homemaker who enjoyed the time spent with family & friends; she was a member at the Moose Lodge and enjoyed gardening & flowers, and collecting clowns & angels. In addition to her parents and husband, Patsy was also preceded in death by her brother, Leslie Yoder and brother-in-law, Arden Martin, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Paula (Ray) Henderson of Atlanta, Nancy (Mike) Hanson, JoAnn (Stephen) Thomas and Judith (Frank) Cockerham, all of Elkhart; sister, Evelyn (Luella) Martin of Indianapolis; brothers, Lawrence J. (Donna) Yoder of Columbia City, Lloyd J. (Helen) Yoder in Florida, Luther J. (Anita) Yoder of Elkhart, sister-in-law, Doris Yoder of Warsaw; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral Services 10:00 Tuesday August 19, 2014 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call Monday 5-7pm in the funeral home. Entombment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
