Paul L. Mark, age 83, of Mishawaka passed away on May 19, 2017 at 3:15 AM at Hospice House in South Bend. He was born September 18, 1933 to Frank P. and Ada (Reed) Mark in Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Paul attended Wilson School where he held the record for running the 440 for many years. On August 25, 1956, Paul married Patricia Oswald. She survives. Paul attended trade school and received training to operate heavy equipment and welding. He was a welder for over 25 years and worked for St. Joseph Valley Structural Steel where he designed, read the blueprints, and set up for projects. He was a member of the Granger Community Church for over 20 years. Paul enjoyed drag racing, and running having run in the Indianapolis Nationals. Paul is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pat; his children, Carole (David) Marzke and Frank (Trudy) Mark; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Pete (Chris) Mark. He was preceded in death by his parents; nine brothers and one sister. There will be a memorial service at 11 AM on June 3, 2017 at the Granger Community Church-Elkhart Campus, 2701 E.
