South Bend – Paul Michael Palicki, 45, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on June 29, 2026, at Memorial Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on March 3, 1981, in South Bend, Paul was the beloved son of Michael and Vicki (Harman) Palicki. He graduated from John Glenn High School in Walkerton with the Class of 1999. He was preceded in death by his uncle, James Mester.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Michael and Vicki Palicki; his cherished daughter, Katelyn Palicki; his brothers, Anthony Michael Palicki, Aaron Michael (Brandy) Palicki, and Jason Michael Palicki; his uncle, Richard (Suzie) Palicki; his aunt, Suzy Mester; his cousins, Angel Palicki, Richie Palicki, Melissa Brothers, Jenny Martin, John Mester, Jayme Reichanadter, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and associates.
Paul was a man of strong Christian faith whose greatest joys were found in the simple things that brought him happiness. He worked as a DISH Network installer and was known as a hardworking and dependable individual who took pride in his work.
A devoted animal lover, Paul adored his faithful companions, especially his beloved cat, Dolce, and his dog, Chalupa. He had an eclectic personality and an enthusiasm for collecting a wide variety of treasures, with baseball cards being among his favorites and elso enjoyed playing games on his XBox. Paul was also a lifelong fan of Rocky Balboa, admiring the character's determination, resilience, and heart. Those who knew him will remember his kind spirit, his unique interests, his love for his family, and his appreciation for life's little joys.
In accordance with Paul's wishes, no public services will be held. He will be laid to rest at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, Indiana.
Paul's memory will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him. May he rest in God's eternal peace.
