Paul Vinsant, 75, of Elkhart, passed away at Elkhart General Hospital on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Paul was born in Jacksboro, Tennessee on February 24, 1935 to the late Cam and Ada (Nance) Vinsant. On October 21, 1958, Paul married Patricia Brown in Elkhart, Indiana. Pat survives, along with their children, Deb (Jerry) Schott of Bristol, IN, Carma Elaine of Tennessee, Kandi (Jeff) Gall of Syracuse, IN, Paul (Patricia) Vinsant of Elkhart, and Ron (Melinda) Vinsant of Charleston, AR. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Vinsant and his sister, Amone Vinsant. Paul was employed as a truck driver, farmer, and factory worker for many years before his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Paul also loved animals, and enjoyed bird watching. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 3:30 pm funeral service on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy.
