Paullette Chandler "Yipper-Dipper", 66, of Metro Atlanta and formerly of Elkhart, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Marietta Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marietta, GA. Paullette was born September 29, 1945 in Norfolk, WV to Geroma Ruby (Triggs) and Schley Haynes. Paullette worked as a CNA/QMA and also as a welder, and was a member of St. James A.M.E. Church in Elkhart. An outgoing person who enjoyed laughter and having fun with family & friends, she loved all animals and especially her dog, Radar. Paullette is survived by her daughter, Monique (Chandler) Mosby of Metro Atlanta; her adopted mother, Lucy Royal of Elkhart; twin-sister, Jeannette Newton-McKnight of Metro Atlanta; sister, Beverly Ellison of Fort Wayne; brothers, Kim Royal and Henry Royal, both of Elkhart, Craig Royal of Huntsville, AL and John "Hippy" Royal of Pendleton, IN; nieces & nephew, Letha McKnight, Denise McAry, Sarita Bonner and Freddie McKnight, Jr., all of Elkhart. Paullette was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her adopted father, James "Pops" Royal. Funeral Services 1:00 Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, where friends may call from 12-1:00pm. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
