Peggy Ann Vest, 77, of Elkhart, passed away at 3:55 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2013 in Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Lakeland, FL. Peggy was born on December 11, 1935 in Modoc, WV, the daughter of the late Brainard and Ethel M. (Cecil) Woolwine. Peggy married James P. Vest on January 3, 1955.

She is survived by three children, Jerry K. Vest of Jimtown, Carol J. (Kennith) Hartwell of Flint, MI and Bonnie J. Markley of Mishawaka, nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Sylvia Perkins and Kathleen Kettle, both of Flint, MI and a brother, Basil Woolwine. She is preceded in death by her husband, one son, James E. Vest, one granddaughter, Kimberly and siblings, Garfield Cecil, Paul Woolwine, Randolph Woolwine, Bobby Woolwine, Billy Woolwine, and Dora Lucas

Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 pm, Friday, January 11, 2013 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2013 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
