Peter Gerick passed in peace at the age of 64 on December 27, 2020. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life's challenges with a smile and an unwavering sense of humor.

Pete is survived by 2 daughters, Nichole Gerick and Shawntel Wiskotoni (Jim), 6 grandchildren, and 3 siblings.

Pete was predeceased by his parents, Doris and Peter, and by his sister, Eileen.

Pete had a love affair with traveling, and especially with the Great Smoky Mountains. He always had a story to tell and pictures to show from his trips. Some of his daughters' fondest memories of Pete are during their family camping trips throughout the US. Whether in the company of family and friends or someone he had never met before, Pete was always making others laugh with his wit and contagious sense of humor.

At Pete's request, no services will be held. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the nurses, doctors, and staff at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Elkhart General Hospital, and Riverside Villa for their care and compassion over the years.
