Peter Limberopoulos, 79, of Osceola, entered into eternal rest on June 15, 2022. He was born in Louka Tripoli in Greece on May 21, 1943 to his parents, Nikolas and Ekaterina Limberopoulos who preceded him in death. He was the former owner of Eddie's Steak Shed in Granger and he was known for owning several other restaurants throughout his life in the local area. Peter was always looking for ways to give back to others. Family and his businesses were his life. He truly lived the "American Dream" after arriving from Tripoli, Greece in 1972. Peter will forever be known for his hard work ethic! He was loved by many and his main goal in life was to provide and take care of his family. Peter was one of the most selfless individuals this world has ever seen. He wasn't a materialistic man. Most of the time you would see him in his checkered pants and white chef shirt. He was a great man who will be missed by many.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Efigenia Limberopoulos; children, Nick (Joanna) Limberopoulos and Ekaterini Anagnos; grandchildren, Panayoti, Efiyenia, and Katerina; sisters, Georgia Vellos and Asimina Kononelou; and brothers, John Limberopoulos and Tom Limberopoulos.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM with the Trisagion to begin at 7:30 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 52455 N. Ironwood Rd., South Bend, IN 46635. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Following the Funeral Service, everyone is meeting at the cemetery entrance located off of McKinley Highway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church.
