Phillip E. Lundberg, 72, of Osceola, died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 30, 2016. The South Bend native was born March 15, 1944 to Devon & Stella (Kravcheno) Lundberg. Phil was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of the VFW Post #360. On January 23, 1992, Phil married Patricia (Miltenberger) Lundberg in Las Vegas, NV. He retired from Bendix/Honeywell and was a member of the UAW. Phil enjoyed his family & friends and he cherished the time spent with his grandchildren; he also enjoyed visiting with neighbors, assisting others whenever possible or tending to the yard along with his faithful companion, an Australian Shepherd named Max. Phil was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and was also a football fan, especially Notre Dame. In addition to his parents, Phil was also preceded in death by his brother, Paul Lundberg. He is survived by Patricia Lundberg, his wife of 24 years and his step-children, Richard (JoAnn) Kimbel of Grayslake IL and Penny England of Mishawaka; grandchildren, Eric, Molly and Rebecca Kimbel, all of Grayslake IL and Adam (Ashland) Griggs in Pennsylvania; great-grandchildren, Rowen, Tru and Harlen Griggs, all in Pennsylvania and his brothers, Devon Lundberg, Jr. of Mishawaka and Jon (Roberta) Lundberg of Osceola.
