Phyllis E. Glassburn, 79, of South Bend, died Saturday December 31, 2016 at home. The South Bend native was born September 24, 1937 to Herold & Ruth (Van Gundy) Glassburn. Phyllis retired from the University of Notre Dame and was a member of Prairie Gardens Christian Fellowship Church. Survivors include her children, Jeanine (Frank) Rozum of South Bend, Charlotte Vansquyk & Chanel Atkinson, both of Las Vegas NV, Wayne Vansquyk of South Bend, Lewis Kastel in Arizona, and her grandchildren.
