Phyllis Joan Platz, 81 of Mishawaka, died on October 25, 2018.  She was born on July 27, 1937 in South Bend to Stafford and Grace Alice (Goltry) Clark.  On December 6, 196 1, Phyllis married Ralph J. Platz and he survives.  Phyllis was a homemaker and enjoyed line dancing at the Battell Center.  Phyllis is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ralph; her stepdaughter, Patty (Ron) Carey; stepson, Ralph Allen (Cheryl) Platz, both of Kentucky; several grandchildren; her siblings, Nancy Clark of Goshen, Lucy (Paul) Mutchler of Mishawaka, Sherry Thacker of Elkhart, Sandra (Rick) Noonan of California, William (Winnie) Mollar and Bob (Debbie) Clark, both of Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and a stepdaughter, Helen Marie.  Family and friends will be received on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 9:30-10 AM in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561 with a funeral service in Phyllis's honor beginning at 10 AM.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  To leave an online condolence or sign the guest book, please visit www.chapelhillmemorial.com.
