Phyllis J. "Trigger" Trigg, 80 of Elkhart, passed away at 7:40 pm, Sunday, October 25, 2009 in Valley View Health Care, Elkhart. Phyllis was born on March 20, 1929 in South Bend to the late Glen A. and Lucille (Lapelt) Morningstar.
She is survived by five children, Sally (Roger) Scheetz of Elkhart, Gordon Trigg of Missouri, Rick Trigg of Elkhart, Randy (Dianna) Trigg of Elkhart and Teddy Trigg of Goshen; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Alfred (Billie) Morningstar of Vancouver, WA and sister, Viola Rosentreter of Phoenix, AZ. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Eleanor Lape.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 30, 2009 in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola.
Memorial donations may be sent to the Humane Society or the donor's choice.
