Phyllis J. Windsor, age 93, of Goshen, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Phyllis was born February 13, 1922 in Newburg Township, Michigan to the late Wilbur and Evelyn (Whitney) Davis.
Surviving are her children, Robert Allen (Beth) Lincoln and Beverly Lincoln, both of South Bend. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters Janyce Sorbello and Winona Whitlock, and her step brothers Jim and Bill Loux.
Visitation will be held from 12-1 pm Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, with funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Phyllis was employed for over 33 years in the offices of NIPSCO. She enjoyed making holiday dinners, gardening, and playing golf. Phyllis was also an avid quilter, and was a longtime member of two local quilting clubs.
Phyllis loved animals, and rescued them often. In her memory, donations may be made to the Elkhart Humane Society, 54678 CR 19, Bristol, Indiana 46507.
