Pierre L. de Renouard, age 87, passed away on March 8, 2016 at Cardinal Health Systems. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on January 28, 1929 to Poul-Erik and Alita (Borberg) de Renouard. He came to the United States in 1948 when he was 19 years old. Pierre married Janice Duzan. She survives. He spent most of his working life in hotel management with his most recent position as a charter director for United Limo. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Janice, until his health declined. Pierre is survived by his wife, Janice; his children, Erik (Wanda) de Renouard of Hot Springs, AR, Karin (David) Scott of Purcellville, VA, Christian (Sandra) de Renouard of Warrenton, VA, Danielle (Manuel) Martinez of Moreno Valley, CA, and adopted son Tony (Bertha) de Renouard of Riverside, CA; his stepchildren, Laura (Spencer) Cappel of Leavenworth, KS, and David (JoAnn) Spencer of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Wesley and Aimee de Renouard, Sean (Leigh) Scott, Keith and Erin de Renouard, Alexander, Amanda, and Annabelle Martinez, A.J., Ian, Samantha deRenouard; step-granddaughter, Shelby Cappel of Ft. Hood, TX; great grandchildren, Maise de Renouard, Christian, Parker, and Madelyn Scott, and Lydia de Renouard; he is also survived by his family in Denmark: half sisters, Nina Kjeldsen, Jeanne (Erling) Lauersen; half brother, Torben (Bente) deRenouard; nieces and nephews, Iben (Jesper) Fredslund, Stig (Marie)Kjeldsen, and Mette Lauersen; great nephews and nieces, Mikkel, Vigga Mai, Emilie, and Sallie. Pierre was preceded in death by his parents; and stepmother, Grethe de Renouard. Friends and relatives will be received on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 12-2 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561.
