Quincy Lee Bontrager, age 52, of Elkhart, passed away following a heart attack on Sunday, April 6, 2014. Quincy was born March 29, 1962 in Jackson, MI.
Surviving are his children, Amanda Bontrager, Quincy Lee (Brandy) Bontrager Jr., and Ambre Bontrager, all of Elkhart, as well as his father Harold ( Dee) Bontrager of Elkhart, and sisters Gloria Ulmer of Three Rivers, MI, and Tracy (Paul) Rothwell of Zionsville, IN. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Angel, Shyla, Tyler, Andrina, Ajiana, Adrien, Nicholas, Jonathan, Sergio, Megan, Hannah, Jordan, Briana and Anthony. Quincy was preceded in death by his mother, Mary M. Troyer and his granddaughter, Peyton.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 2:00 pm funeral service on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola.
Quincy was employed for many years at Parkwood and Skyline before joining his father at Bontrager Construction. He was a wonderful and loving father who overcame many obstacles in life, loved his family immensely, and loved fishing and Notre Dame Football.
