Obituary

Ralph Clyde Garber, Jr., 81, of New Port Richey, FL, formerly of Bristol, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012 in Madison Pointe Rehabilitation Center, New Port Richey, FL. Ralph was born on September 24, 1931, the son of the late Ralph C. and Kathryn (Buckley) Garber. On July 2, 1960, in Chicago, he married Mary V. North, who passed away on May 29, 2009. Ralph proudly served his country in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1954. During his tour, he was wounded in battle and received a purple heart for his heroics.

He is survived by three children, Gayle (Jerry) Mora of New Port Richey, FL, Kurt (Gloria) Garber of Gurnee, IL and Christopher (Judy) Garber of Bristol; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Ruth Velez of Melrose Park, IL and brother Mike Garber of Las Vegas, NV. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters, Mildred Higginbathon and Patricia Loukipoulas and four brothers, Charles Kelly, Edward Kelly, George Garber, and David Garber.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm, Friday, December 28, 2012 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, with full military honors.
