Obituary

Ralph E. Woolet, 80, of Osceola, passed away at 11:38 pm, Monday, August 16, 2010 in Elkhart General Hospital. Ralph was born on February 24, 1930 in Mishawaka to the late Vernon and Pearl (Yoho) Woolet. On May 23, 1953, he married Madge R. Widup.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Madge, two sons, Michael of Keizer, OR and Brian and Ruby of South Bend, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Frances Bevis of Florence, AL and Verna Jo Byrd and a brother, Donald and Helene Woolet of Denton, TX.
Ralph proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1953. He was a member of the Cedar Road Missionary Church, Osceola. He worked for Bethel College for over 20 years before his retirement in 1995.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, August 20, 2010 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, with two hours of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
