MICHIGAN CITY – Randy A. Casper, 52, passed away early morning on February 14, 2018. Randy was born June 3, 1965 in Michigan City, Indiana to Virgil Partenberry and Lilly Casper. He proudly served our country in the United States Army as a reservist for 6 years. He was self employed as an auto body painter and refurbished many classic cars for over 30 years. Randy was always known for being a cut-up. He had a great sense of humor and brought joy to all who surrounded him. He especially loved to cook for his family and friends for gatherings at home. Everyone loved to be part of Randy's grilled chicken and he in turn loved to see the joy he brought to others as a gracious host. He is also remembered as being a dog lover and found great comfort in his four-legged companions. Randy enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and listening to country music. His fun-loving spirit will be present with his friends and family always. Randy is survived by his loving companion Laurie Allen; mother, Lilly (Glenn Adams) Casper; father, Virgil (Connie) Partenberry; brother, Larry (Polly) Casper; sisters, Sheryl Casper, Lena (Russ) Murray, Lora (Don) Vanscoy, and Lisa (Roger) Nichols. Also surviving are his closest niece and nephew, Cassi Dalgliesh and Joshua Casper as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his stepfather, Lester Casper.
