Ray D. Lantzer, 87, of Plymouth, IN, passed away on Saturday October 29, 2022.  He was born on January 25, 1935 in Goshen to Alvin and Catherine (Shantz) Lantzer.  He married Pat Leist on August 4, 1957.  She passed away on Dec. 12, 1996.

Ray is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Shaffer; his son, Steve Lantzer; 2 grandchildren: Tracy (Tim) White and Kristi (Blake) Miller; 6 great-grandchildren: Brianna (Donovan) Schroeder, Brendan (Alexis) White, Preston White, Landon Wales, Leslie and Brenna Miller; a brother, Lee Lantzer; and a sister, Ruth Hershberger.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pat, and his second wife, Dorothy.

Ray was a Maintenance man at area RV factories.  He was a volunteer for many years on the Concord Twp. Vounteer Fire Dept., where he was an Arson Investigation Specialist.  He liked to garden.  He enjoyed fixing things and tinkering- he was always working on a project.

Friends may visit with the family from 5-7 PM Thurs. Nov. 3, 2022 and 10AM-12 PM Fri. Nov. 4, 2022 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561.

A funeral service in his honor will be held on Fri. Nov. 4, 2022 at 12 PM at the funeral home.  Entombment will follow at the Mausoleum at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
