Raymond E. Gamble, Jr., 82, of Elkhart, passed away on Thursday June 9, 2022 at home with his loving family.  He was born on August 23, 1939 to Raymond E., Sr. and Mildred Gamble in Glen Rogers, West Virginia.  He married Mary Bowlby on February 26, 1961 in Millersburg, Indiana.

Raymond graduated from Chapmansville High School in West Virginia.

He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.  He was employed for 25 years with Kampco Steel Products.  Raymond was a Baugo Township Fireman for 18 years.  Part of that time he served as Assistant Fire Chief.  He spent many years coaching Little League for his children.  Raymond was an avid golfer.  He spent most weekends with his group of golf buddies in several tournaments.  He loved the golf course and was his happiest when he was on it.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; 2 sons: John M. and Brian E. (Heather) Gamble; a daughter, Deborah Regulinski; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and a cousin, Pete (Marcia) Bargo.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-7 PM on Wednesday June 15, 2022 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN.  A Funeral Service in his honor will be at 10 AM Thursday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
