Raymond Perry Henderson, 65, entered this world on January 2, 1961, in Elkhart Indiana as a true free spirit, and as the sun set on a beautiful Saturday, May 16, 2026, he was welcomed into the arms of Jesus.

Through his kindness, humility, compassion, and unwavering love for others, Ray reflected Christ in the way he lived each day and in the way he treated everyone around him. He never met a stranger, Ray was everyone’s friend. His warm smile, gentle spirit, and genuine heart made him a light in the lives of so many.

Ray was a devoted Christian, loving father, and proud grandfather. To know Ray was to love him. Ray loved drinking coffee and being outside. He was a gifted woodworker with an incredible appreciation for music and a natural eye for beauty and craftsmanship.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Emma (Sarber) Henderson; his sister, Nancy (Neal) Amstutz; and his beloved grandson, Teagan Maracle.

He is survived by the apple of his eye, his daughter, Tylinna Maracle Enos (Colton Enos); his grandson, Trey Maracle; step-granddaughters; Peyton Enos, Hollie Enos, and Maddilyn Enos, his siblings, Walter (Jan) Loney, Rose Rudd, Dane (Jan) Larsen, Marty Larsen, and Steve (Aubrey) Stroud; as well as many cousins, adored nieces and nephews, and lifelong best friends, Greg (Kim) Lambert and Keith (Tammy) Null.

A graveside service for Ray will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, at 11 AM.
