South Bend - Rebecca Jane Thomas, 76, of South Bend, passed away after a brief illness at her home on December 21, 2024.

Rebecca was born on April 24, 1948, in Goshen, IN to the late Ben and Jeanette (Miller) DeBoer. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brooklyn, a grandson, Camden and a sister, Linda (DeBoer) Snider.

Rebecca and Carl Thomas were married on February 26, 1972, in Syracuse, Indiana at the Calvary United Methodist Church. She was a member of Granger Community Church, and she enjoyed her flower gardens.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, Carl Thomas of South Bend, her children, Michael Thomas, of Osceola, David (Jenifer) Thomas, of Bristol, Tom (Lisa) Thomas of Grand Rapids MI, grandchildren Joshua (Tommie) Thomas, Cody (Angie) Thomas, Emily (Jeremy) Thomas,  Bradley, Logan, Tyrese, Isaac and Tanner, great grandchildren Cody Jr.,  Ava and Mason, and step great grandkids, Danni and Andi Green.
