Reva Morris Strain, 79, of Elkhart, passed away in her home at 3:33 am, Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Reva Morris was born on June 19, 1930 in Finger, Tennessee to the late Sol and Ida Pearl (Walker) Colston. On October 22, 1945 in Corinth, Mississippi, she married Billy Ray Strain.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Strain of Elkhart, three children, Kay Ernsberger of Elkhart, Delain Dillon of New Port Richey, FL, and David (Pamela) Chastain of Warsaw; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Hipps of Pace, FL and a daughter in law, Judy Strain of New Port Richey, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kenneth E. Strain, who passed on February 4, 2007.
She was a member of the Osceola 1st General Baptist Church, Vice President of the God''s Sunshine Ladies, and a founding member of the Osceola Bunco Club, since 1962. She was the former owner/operator of BilMor Hairstyling of Osceola.
Visitation will take place from 5:00-8:00 pm, Saturday, May 29, 2010 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, May 30, 2010 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
