Richard W. "Bill" Myers, 93, of Mishawaka, died on December 13, 2018 surrounded by his family at home.  He was born on June 22, 1925 in North Liberty to Henry Ross and Mary Alice (Wolfe) Myers.  Bill graduated from High School and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Navy during World War II.  He earned an Associates degree as a journeyman and worked for Studebaker and Wheelabrator.  On July 23, 1949, Bill married Arlene Kronewitter and they celebrated 69 wonderful years together.  He enjoyed nature and bird watching along with fishing and lake life.  Bill is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Arlene; his children, Paula (Dale) Sobecki of Granger, Cindy Myers of Princeville, IL, and Timothy (Deanne) Myers of New Carlisle; daughter-in-law, Karen Myers; grandchildren, Michael, Patrick, Jennifer, Rachel, Taylor, Morgan, and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Keegan, Braydon, Caleb, Garrett, Olivia, Mayson, and Micah; 2 great-great-grandchildren; three siblings, Jack Myers, Dorothy Bartolini, and Shirley (Bernie) Wagner.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Richard W. Myers, Jr.; and grandsons, Adam Smith and Jeremiah Sobecki.  Friends and family will be received on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 4-8 PM in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561.  A funeral service in Bill's honor will be on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 10 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Vito Rulli presiding.  Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
