Richard Lee Laughlin, 88, of South Bend, entered into eternal rest on June 14, 2022. He was born on February 2, 1934 to the late Eugene and Helen Laughlin. Richard loved to watch western and military movies. He was a pretty simple man who was happy go lucky. Richard proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo (Deneen) Laughlin; special companion, Myrna Lu (Woods) Laughlin; son, Robin Laughlin; sister, Kathleen Furukawa; and brother, Eugene Laughlin.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Kelly Laughlin; grandchildren, Joshua Laughlin and Adam Laughlin.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home,10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561. All other services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Osceola American Legion Post 308.
